Here is the craft resin

To color the resin, I opted to try using some my powdered natural plant dyes. For this inaugural batch I used green henna powder that you can get (at least in Canada) at superstore (loblaws) ethnic food isle.

I mixed the two part resin that looked like glycerin and was crystal clear with the green powder and poured it into simple disc shape chocolate molds I picked up at my local bulk food store. BTW no smell what so ever from the epoxy.

Let them cure over night and popped them out. Now I need to sand them and polish them , drill some holes. I have figured out a lot of my metal polishing equipment can be used on the resin include jewelers rouge. Here is what they look like


Back side pitting is actually henna powder that settle on the bottom but I actually like the effect.
